STAN — Stop The Abuse Now — is the mascot for North Mississippi Family Center.  He is a cuddly friend, who goes into schools, day cares, Head Starts and churches and who attends events to teach children about abuse and how to talk to adults if they or a friend is being abused. The STAN program is geared toward lower elementary and preschool children.
